Guide to a Deck: Myuu

Flap... fap?
Myuu, the resona girl, is a hyper offensive deck that can easily kill your opponent by field wiping them with Ougusoku, Nanahoshi, and Heike, while also doing Assassinations with Vespers and On-Attack banishes with Scarab to refuse your opponent ener if they use ARTS. Of course, this is after Charming all of them with Tsukutsuku, Minmin and Tamamushi. Myuu has it's fair share of defense too. Kumamusu is an amazing and annoying card that works fantastically, especially with Imago's Ener Charging skill negating the cost, and that same Imago provides you a lot of ener to use in ARTS. Myuu also has preety damned good defensive ARTS, such as Four Color Miasma,
Bloody Slash, Charm Tactics combined with Ougusoku and Nanahoshi. Myuu has a lack of reliable finisher, but she doesn't really need any, considering just how offensive she is regardless. Overall, Myuu is a great deck in the metagame, while also being one of the three Resona LRIGs actually seeing anything close to "play" in the metagame for a reason.

Charm Myuu

Myuu has a frightening amount of retrieval within her, having utility cards such as Kiaha and Kuroha as well as your main LRIG to-go, Imago, has a built-in retrieval skill, which is extremely useful. However, you use all these resources when you use it to summon heavy-costed Resonas, namely Arachne Pider and Ougusoku. Pider has a niche that lets her charm everything that comes into the field, which is a great effect. However, with the rise of Ougusoku, and Charm Tactics being a popular to-go choice as an ARTS to synergize with Nanahoshi and that Charm Tactics synergizes with Ougusoku better, and that Scarab too, synergizes with Ougusoku better than Pider, topped off with the retrieval On-Kill that Ougusoku has, Ougusoku thoroughly replaced Pider in the Myuu metagame. Pider is seen every here and then, but is rare. Oh, and Vesper too, likes Ougusoku better than Pider.

Anyways, enough of Pider vs Ougusoku, let's go back into Myuu in general. Myuu, again, getting a lot of card advantage using cards such as Kiaha, Kuroha and Hanamakiri to draw cards, to call out Resonas for offense and getting out the key cards you like to have, and using Myuu=Imago and Bokumakiri to get the ener you lost in the process back, leads to using virtually no resources for extreme level offense.

Black Bullet lol
There is one interesting card ran in a few Myuu decks worth mentioning, which is Violence Jealousy. This is generally because you tend to Charm yourself with Charm Tactics to make Nanahoshi hit for -12k from time to time. Violence Jealousy in this case not only gives you more salvaging to utilize, it helps triggering off Heike, leading to some devastating comboes.

Herakabuto used to be ran in Myuu, until Nanahoshi came outclassing it with the "unable to banish" effect and basically whatever Herakabuto did but onto a single thing which was more reliable. However, Herakabuto's still a good card that can be ran in Myuu as a tech, considering that it nerfs about every level 1/2 ever. That being said, Pider isn't even used anymore.

Aphud is a great card. It acts as a Servant that can be fetched, as well as acts as a Misfortune Insect fodder for Kumamusu/Ougusoku. It is a level 3, but it isn't that bad of a thing since it can also act as an anti-Samsara/Hanayo.

I love eggs.
Myuu loves Bloody Slash, as many other decks do. It's a flexible card that synergizes well with Kumamusu as well as gets rid of things, and can work frighteningly well with Heike. Other ARTS used by Myuu decks, aside from the standard Resonas + Charm Tactics, consists of Miasma, Penalty Chance (probably gonna be replaced by Crisis Chance once it comes out in WX14), and Twists and Turns for some wierd reason.

Finally, some wierd choices for certain Myuu decks are a tech-in of Cyclamen. It isn't like Cyclamen is a great card, but Myuu likes maxing out the insects due to Kumamusu being a thing. Well, these variants of Myuu tends to run either Twists and Turns or Withered Tree, Living Flower so there's that I guess. Another wierd choice is Fracturing Lust, which is to be expected, but I dis of this idea due to the same reason as Cyclamen. It would help against Midoriko, but otherwise, it's... eh. Myuu can work without it.

Oh, and also, Myuu=Flap is a bad card due to Imago just being better as a resource gainer and Myuu=Flap adding... erm, redundant offense into Myuu's already high-heavy one. It's a shame considering Flap is probably the best waifu card ever created in this game. Now then, I'll go now running away from Iona/Eldora/Umuru cultists. Have a nice day! (except for the fact that it's like 2:30 AM here atm lmao)

  1. Hi I'm new to Wixoss and tried to main Myuu, but I can't charm my opponents early game. Tsukutsuku and Mosquito can only charm when there are cards in opponent's trash. Everytime I can't charm early game, I perform bad late game. How can I charm signi early?
